REGULAR COMMUNITY CENTRE SERVICES

The Bonnie Doon Community Centre aims to benefit all sectors of the community by maintaining as accessible facility (adequate wheelchair access, hand rails, lighting, air conditioning, etc) and seeking input from the community so that we offer a range of services and activities, at a suitable time and cost.

The Centre provides many opportunities for local employment, education, health services, child care and social networks.

The monthly program includes playgroups, UFO (unfinished craft objects), playtime, indoor bowls, Out & About and dog handling - along with computer training, internet cafe, desktop publishing, health clinic, Exercise Physiologist, massage and therapeutic counselling.

Extra activities such as camp oven cooking, kite making, markets, Water Aerobics, Multiculture Dinner are planed regularly - please phone the centre on 03 5778 7722 for more information.

TUESDAYS: UFO GROUP (Unfinished craft objects)
Tuesday the UFO group meet at 1.30pm - 3.30pm for an informal get-together to work on unfinished craft objects.

TUESDAYS: PLAYGROUP
Playgroup (cost $2) 10am - 12pm. Set up and run by parents and caregivers, with children choosing from a range of activities set up to meet their varying needs. Activities include: music and singing, imaginative play, outdoor and free play, art and craft activities, outings bring along a hat, drink and a piece of fruit.

WEDNESDAYS: OUT AND ABOUT GROUP
Out and About group meet every second Wednesday of the month to take part in excursions. Call Bob for more information on 5778 5668
